What was your favorite fashion statement from the 1980s?

For me, one of the worst decades for fashion was the 80s. The pastel colours, the big ceramic earrings, the big hair....ugh! But the thing that I really hated the most was acid wash and legwarmers. And I must say I fell victim to both of them. LOL. Or do you remember how bandanas were worn around the legs or the arms not your head or neck? Or the leather jackets with the tassles or fringe hanging off the arms and across the back? I now that fashion sometimes repeats itself in later years, but come hell or high water, I will never wear acid wash again!!!!!!!!
