how do you want your steak to be cooked?

I am a medium well girl myself. I just like it a little pink in the middle. What i do not understand is how a person orders there steak rare and i am talking about the people who say slap it on the grill for a few seconds then bring it out. Umm gross...i do not like my meat to still be bleeding. I have issues eating meat in the first place, but to still have the bone in it and bleeding, no. The realization that i am eating a once living creature is to great in those circumstances.

I like my steak well done. definitely dont wanna eat a meat where I can see a presence of blood in it

I'm a medium rare person.. I love the pinkish reddish meat that is there in the middle and the juice that spills out when you cut it.. Then once you put it in your mouth, you can have the tenderness of the meat.. which is sooooo yummy... :) My husband is a well done person. I think he doesn't like any juice in the meat and he likes his steak tough.. which I don't get the reason why anyone wants to eat a tough meat.. :) Thanks for posting this discussion! I have to have mine well done, I couldn't eat it if I could see blood. I could never understand how people could eat them blue, it's disgusting! My parents used to run a restaurant and I remember one of the customers came in and asked for a raw steak. He sat there and ate it too!

i like my steak to be well done...but not to the point that its overcooked that the meat would get hard. i don't like it rare or medium because there is still the presence of blood and it tastes weird..

I like between a medium and a medium rare. I find that every place cooks them differently so it's hard to get exactly what I want. And our BBQ at home seems to have really uneven heat. I like my steak pink and juicy throughout, maybe a hint of red but NOT raw. It grosses me out when people order blue rare steak!

i like steaks cooked medium rare. i like them still a bit pink and bloody in the middle. blood doesnt bother me..just means its juicy!! lol!

i like my steak well done. i dont like the after taste of a rare meat. i still feel the after taste. :(

I do like my steaks cooked well done. I do not lke any pink at all in my meat. I like it all brown.

Hiya Punkix! I like my steak to be medium-rare, even maybe a little more on the rare side. I am pretty picky about this as I am not a very big steak lover. I have had a few that were incredible, but they have been few and far between.

Medium rare for me please! I like it when the juice of the steak is still "IN" the steak not n the pan. hehe

Rare to medium-rare, and only cooked on a propane grill.
