dogs cry??

Sometimes out of blue, my dog start to cry non stop until stop it. I heard old people says that dog eyes can see ghost. My grandmother dog also do the same. My grandmother dog will cry late at night and always do that. My dog only start to do recently. I am wondering, if my dog is seeing ghost or just the dog missed female dog. What you think is it because, my dog saw ghost or something else? I am worry for my dog. Do your dog do that? What is your opinion?
