Today I just came across the best looking doughnuts and I just have to taste them. True enough, not only they were so deliciously lovely, they were so tasty too. As I was licking my fingers, I begin to realize I had already eaten six of themand that was suppose to be my dinner- the doughnuts in the picture on the left. I really liked the Tangy Mango & the Chocoring
What are the variety that is available at your place and the best tasty ones that you have ever had?
Why indeed it is called a "doughnut" ? With so many varieties, it is certainly not what it's really seemed to be...lol.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi desierra! You ate all six! I could do that easily too! I
love doughnuts! I have to stop myself or I could eat all
of them even if there was 12! I like all kinds and flavors.
We have a Dunkin Donuts where I live in NY. In fact there
is one in walking distance down the block. I have to keep
myself from going in there or walking near there because
of the smells! I live blueberry, bowties, powdered sugar,
jelly, even plain doughnuts! In fact my boyfriend brought
home 4 the other day and I had to only eat 2 because 2
were for him! When they are fresh the just melt in your
mouth. Now that I am writing this my mouth is watering and
I want to take a walk down the street and get me some!

Hi Opal, the way you describe your passion for doughnuts makes me having the craving againI was enjoying the Bigappledonuts yesterday and had another six as takeaway..yea...couldn't resist the freshly baked tasty ones as I passed by the shop.
I think over there the size of them would be bigger and better variety.
I wonder do they come in other shapes too beside the common ring ones? We have here in the shape of small balls, round non ring, round spiral, long oval!!!..lol.Goshhh..what they will think of next.

Hi Desierral, I’m certainly sure that the doughnut you had come across was the most beautiful and tastiest one you ever taken before, so that you straight away eaten six of them at one time as your dinner .
Yeah there are great varieties of doughnut with different recipes. I like its unique fragrance and texture and its particular ring shape as well. I just like the traditional one with sugar spreading on it. Anyway it’s simple and economic so that everyone could afford to buy them in the cake house.
I find that kids normally like those with chocolate topping and colorful flakes with some lovely star shape sugar on it. Actually I have no idea how the name “doughnut” was originated
posting and have a nice day.

Hi lkbooi, glad to know that you fancy them too. I just had another 6 of them again two days ago. Guess I still have the craving and not over those delicious doughnuts yet... I came across one with chicken floss & another with cheese flakes all over the top.
MMmmmmmmmm...they were not bad too.
I am surely putting some weight after all this doughnuts. And agree with "Galena" that they might originate from the bolt & nuts but just sweeter..lol.
You have a nice flower avatar there, different from previous but still as pleasant and delightful.
Cheers and have a good evening..sure is chilling nowadays.

HEllo my fren..Where have u been recently?? hOw have u been?? SO long din see u around in mylot, and i miss your discussions.. lol =D
I love doughnuts, but i have to control myself, because they are super sweet, plus, they are very filling for me.. And i'm surprised that u managed to eat 6 for dinner?? haha =D Are the doughnuts too small for u, or they are just simply irresistable?? hehe ^_^
I only like the original doughnut which is coated with sugar, if not, with chocolate ^_^ I guess doughnut gets its name, from the actual thing it's made of, and it's round ^_^ haha

Lol...yea..I couldn't resist those doughnuts yesterday and YES! I had six of them, the regular size ones...lol. I even had another six as takeaway..lol...feeling one of those good days " natural highs "..hehehe..
The original one coated with sugar is a bit too sweet for me and goshhhhhhhhh...the amount of sugar..really...I will have diabetes for definite.
Have a good holidays! Thank you once again for the response and sweet thoughts

Hey there dear friend! It's been quite a while. Wow you ate all 6? Haha. I wonder why there are called doughnuts or donuts too... Hmm... I love eating them too but I've refrained from doing so since they tend to get really sweet which is bad for the health. Hehe.

Heya, they were surely delicious..well..just one of those days of cravings and happened to be doughnuts. I agree with you it is bad for health and certainly way too much of sweetness. It is really hard to resist as every time I walk pass the shop, there are new flavors waiting for me to try..lol.
Anyway wish you a fun time in here and happy posting!
