How do you handle the number of your friends, I am getting so many discussions and I want to answer all of them so my friends will get the credit. But the number is becoming unmanagable. I just can't get to them all. Do you delete friends or do you just answer the discussions that interest you. Please give me some advise on this.

With no disrespect to many friends, my time is limited, so I just turn off the notifications for all but a few select, very special friends. It's just all I can handle. Still, I do look for the posts of other friends and I respond when I can.
I don't cherish any friend less because I've turned off the notifications. I just work very long hours, and my poor health has me in doctors' offices several times a week, so there are limits to what I can deal with.

There is nothing that says you have to answer every discussion that your friend start. In fact, you are only supposed to respond when you have something to say, and not just respond for the sake of responding.
That's why I don't have all of my friends on 'notify'. I have 700+ friends and could never keep up with all of them that way, nor would I want to.
I read discussions that catch my eye, and respond accordingly. I also do NOT delete or clean out my friends. What's the point?

i envy you for having so many friends lol
i think responding only to the only that is interesting is the best solution when you are buried under piles of messages

It will not take you long if your just start asking people, who's discussions or responses interest you, that is how i started. Be sure to check your home page and look at friends to see it you have any new ones. It took me almost 6 weeks to learn about that. I am not very computer savvy, never mind my name.
