Fan-Casting Legend of Zelda: The Movie

My wife and I have spent some time recently pondering who could be good for the main characters if/when they make a Zelda film. She likes Zack Effrom for Link(High School Musical), although she wishes he did not have a history of being in crud like High School Musical. I'm not even sure what age range I'd want to see, young teens I think would be best. And would I be more concerned, in the end, with the appearance or acting ability? Seems like it would kinda suck if they made the movie LOOK perfect, but the acting was terrible. So, who would you like to see in the main roles: Link, Zelda, Ganondorf And while we're at it, what should the story be?
