My sister had stinky feet growing up. Now my daughter has stinky feet. She washes them every day too. Guess she needs to wash her shoes and not wear the same ones every day. I tell you the smell from that girl's feet could knock an elephant over. Do you have to deal with stinky feet on a daily basis?

My son has stinky feet too. I'm going to watch this discussion for more ideas. We do the clean socks, washing feet, and always wearing socks with shoes.

I know what you mean. I figure my son's been around for 11 years now, might as well keep him.

I'd trade her in for a kid with less stinky feet but I kind of like her. lol

I used to (mine-lol) but it has gotten away. I believe it is because I do kind of wear out my shoes faster, so I have newer shoes often, clean socks, clean feet.

I will wear the same shoes all the time too. But most people who do this will continue to wear a pair of shoes if it is in good conditions for a long time. I walk a lot, my shoes are worn out and therefore I use new shoes once in a while, there are deodorants for shoes that can not be wash, or your sis could wear some shoes for home, some for going out.

My sister doesn't have the problem any more (far as I know) but I did tell my daughter to change them more often!

I dont know whether my brother really has a stinky feet , i think it really stinks because he wears the shoes for more than 8 hours with no gap and it he plays and very active fellow , this makes his feet sweat along with the leather it stinks bad , if he is not wearing a shoe , his feet is not stinking .Yea true , if my brother would have existed long before with this shoe there would not be any problems with these dinosaurs lol..

my husbands feet became stinky only when he is stressed. he is using some foot powder and it helps. maybe you need to find out why because sometimes it's not about washing. shoes have some factor specially if it's a leather or synthetic or plastic for which air cannot flow inside.

Oh goodness, yes. I have a very sensitive nose and smells really bother me. Things that no one else can smell at all have me running from the room. That coupled with a husband that stinks is a bad combination, let me tell ya. He will sit in the recliner and pull off his shoes and I have to leave the room. No matter how many times I mention that I'd like him to go clean them up, he never remembers, so I end up just leaving the room. That's one of the reasons I'm here on myLot.

My husband is the one with the sensitive nose. He'll say "what's that smell" and I have no clue what he's talking about. He got it from him mom. One time I gave her some hyacynths and she gave them right back to me. lol

My grandson's feet can stop a clock. I've read that adding a little bleach to a foot soak helps keep the odor at bay for a while. He's done it and it did help. I also bought him some foot powder to put in his socks.

Hi, I didn't know that stinky feet is inherited! Too bad your daughter got it from your sister! Anyway, I think soaking her feet in vinegar or baking soda would help. Tea might be good too. All three fight bacteria which I think is the cause of stinky feet just like bad bacteria in the mouth causes bad breath. You should also air out her shoes so that it can breathe. And you're right, don't let her wear the same shoe all the time. She should alternate the ones she has to give it time to air out. :) Good luck and I hope this helps!
