My daughters tell me about there days at school everyday. Well yestorrday my oldest tell me they were talking about were all the people are from. And where theyre grandparents, and great grandparents come from and such. The teacher says most black people in America come from Africa, the Irish came from Ireland and so on. Talking about where all the differnt people came from as she asks the children if they know where theyre familys are from. Now heres where it takes a turn for the worse. When the teacher goes on teaching. She says how most black are African-American. Mt daughter then says but I'm not Irish-American and I'm more Irish then anyting She goes on to say mom asys its important from everyone to know where they come from. But she says I have all kids of people in my faimly. She says I have caucasian people and African Americans. By know I know she must have upset the teacher for this on going speak in class. My daughter goes on I'm not white do I look like the color of that paper i hope not. And my Uncle , cusins an more people in my family are not black I have a but mark it doesnt match theyre color either. She says my Uncle is part of my family just like everyone else we are all proud of where we come from and we are all Ameriacans and made equal because my hole family says so. Now all that being said I've been waiting all day to see if I get a call from the teacher for my daughter trying to teacher her class and carring on. I was surprised at how much she thought she was defending her hole family. I wish many more adults could be like that.I think it might do as all alot of good. Not just as a country but the whole world. All thoughts are welcome as long as they are polite no nasty or raceist ones are wanted!

Hi hunandi. Congratulations for your daughter!. The skin of the person isn't important. Where they come fromm isn't important too because all of us live in the same planet, in the same world. It is great to meet people from all the world but I don't think that they need to use a mark saying where they are from. Have a nice day.

Thank you very much for your comment. I love to meet people from all over as well. My firends mother speaks polish "if i spelled it right" to her mother when they are on the phone its so intresting. But when they are all together in the USA they all speak english. Her grandmother always said you should the speak the tounge of where you are but dont forget the tounge of where your from. Simple put shed say its respestful for me to speak english when in America and and when Im home I speak polish.

I am very proud. They give me hope. Maybe one day the world will be a better place. I think all to often get so busy with them selfs they for get about that. To many people are stuck on the hole its all about me thing. And some of the ones that are have been hurt for tring and used. Some lose hope from bing treated wrong. But still we must fight we must not give up we can do better.

Yes I agree very much with what your saying. We need to be proud of who we are no matter what. We need to make stand against every that decides other wise. Or what will become of this world. Because theres nobody but us out there to make it better for our children and grandchildren to come. Happy Mylotting!!!!
