I have retruned from my dads post-operation Dr. appointment. Thew tumors he had removed last week from his bladder are non-cancerous. That is a huige relief to me to say the least. Dad is indifferent about it as he has already forgot he had surgery a week ago. Now his prostate is enlarged and pushing into his bladder. The Dr gave him some meds to shrink the prostate. He will be back on his Plavix and aspirin in one week as well. So things took a great turn today. This all weighed heavily on my mind. Now I can rest some what I guess. Just wanted to update all my friends here that wonder about dad and I. Thanks all in advance. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I am so happy that he is okay, and in a way it is a blessing that he doesn't remember, that way he doesn't stay worried like the rest of us

Hi Grandpa Bob! That's wonderful news! I'm so glad to hear that your Dad is going to be ok! I'm glad that they will be able to control the problem with meds. Now you can relax a bit and enjoy baby Savanna! Has Dad seen her yet? Now you can focus on your new computer and the baby and go back to taking care of Dad like you always have. I'm really glad that the tumors turned out to be non-cancerous. So Dad will be around for a long time! Take care of yourself and relax a bit now Grandpa Bob!

I am so glad the tumors where not cancerous that your dad had removed. How is he doing? has the bleeding stopped? My husband is on meds to shrink his prostate and they are slow acting. It could take 6 months before his sees results. Good luck in taking care of him

I am happy to hear they are non cancerous. cancer is a pretty scary thing to deal with. Now has the doctor mentioned if these tumors will grow back or not? I pray that they don't.

Bob, This is wonderful news, Praise God! I also read the other post about your Dad wetting him self. Just a thought, but you know if he is in pain that may be interfering with his ability to feel when he has to go? Maybe once his prostrate goes down it will relieve the situation. Blessings Marilyn
