Let's say that you have discussions which are over a year ago or a few months ago and you haven't resolved them yet, would you still go back and comment?
Me, I go back, to resolve it, give best responses, and at least give back the time that responders shared with me, in respect..
I don't want them to think that I just post and forget about it, so I do try my very best to go back and at least put some comments..
How about you, do you still care?

I don't care about how old the discussion is .There are two points I 'd like to pay attention to .First ,whether the topic of the discussion is my interest. If so ,no matter how old it is ,I will read it ,and comment on it .What's more ,if the discussion is unresolved ,I will try to resolve it .

In my case... i make it a point to comment whenever i can to all those who responded to my discussions... so they are always up to date... and i don't really let my discussions go unresolved for more than 3 months... since i do not want to be burdened with resolving a lot of them at one time...

i still do give justice on my previous posts. I rate my best responses too eventhough they've been posted over a year ago. ;)

Hi eihdra, Yes I do go back and check on my old discussions.
I always make sure that I have given a best response and
have commented to the responders. I don't like to leave
my discussions unfinished. I try to pick a best response
within no more than a months time so that I don't leave
the discussion unfinished. If I do see that someone new
is responding to the discussion after a long time since
its original posting I will go back to comment. I try not
to let people feel that they are responding for no reason.
I want all my responders to know that I value every response
that I get, at least I do try try my best to.

Of course I do. Whatever it is that I write, I am always interested in the discussion and like to hear what other people think even if it has been a while since I made it.

Some old discussions have gone by the wayside because they are no longer relavent, but there are some that are on-going that still peak my interest and the interest of many others. When I get comments on those old discussions I will go back, check them out, and respond if I have something to say.

You are so right!
I hate to offend any of my Mylot friends.
Sometimes, I post a discussion and then comment
and resolve with a day or two.
And, then when I check back over the discussion, I find
that new friends have made comments.
So, I have to comment back.
Don't want them to think I don't appreciate their efforts.

It's become my MYLOT resolution to answer all old responses, pick best responses for all the questions I've asked and give everyone that answered a rating. I get so caught up in the posting and answering of new questions everyday, that I just never havet he time to go back and respond. But I started feeling kind of bad about that. I figure if ppl are taking the time to share their input with me, the least I can do is respond to it. I've made it my goal to go back and do a few every day.

I haven't been here that long yet. I still have some unresolved discussions and some that will probably never be resolved because they have no responses or only one response that doesn't fit the discussion. If any of the old discussions happen to come up again because somehow someone found them and posted a response, I will check it out and maybe respond. Generally, I go through my unresolved discussions about once every two weeks and give the best response and move on. I don't give best response until I am pretty sure no one else is really going to say anything. So that might take a few weeks.
