would you like to know the quality of your phone?
press*#06# and the international mobile equiptment id # appears then check the 7th and 8th nos.
if the 7th and 8th digits are 02 or 20 its from china, low quality
if it is 08 or 80 its from germany - fair quality
if it is 01 or 10 its from finland - very good
if it is 00 original factory best quality
if it is 13 its from azerbaijan - bad quality and dangerous to your health.
so before buying a new or second hand you could probably know the quality of your phone.

Thanks for the information. I heard about that but not too keen, right after reading your topic I checked on my cell phone and the 7th and 8th number is 00 so its good quality. It is a Sony ericsson 700i, I have to check on my nokia N92 and hope it is also of good quality. Thanks again.

Thanks for sharing this to us, now I know that my phone comes from Finland. I also tried my friends phone we are the same. Anyhow, what is Azerbaijan, is that a country. Sorry because I am not familiar with that name. And do you know why the phone that comes from them are bad for health?
