we all like travelling, but we dont notice that when we are travelling we first notice is what we look what we are going to wear! right! first is we should consider is when we are going out like here in baguio, we see to it that our things are always secure like our wallet and mobile phone. when we are wearing nice clothing, for a holduper and snatcher it is a catching for them. always aware of that alway consider that there is a person looking at you. and be careful. just an advissory for all of us.

Hi, I think youre one of friend. Hope everything okay. Yes, it is true we need to prepare for what we should wear. In fact that is what I am thinking about. I will be attending a seminar in another foreign countery and I am searching for what to wear. Do I have to be formal while enroute or just change when near the area. I was informed i will be travelling 15 hours direct. I am searching on it yet.

When I travel I wear a money belt hidden under my clothing. That way a thief will not be able to see my passport, money and debit card. Two Canadian men got kept some money in the back pocket of their jeans. They said it got stolen at a railway station in Romania. I have heard that in some places hand bags can be grabbed by criminals. I didn't have my watch on or carry a hand bag when I was in Nairobi. I had a bottle of water and my guide book in a transparent plastic bag. I carried only a little money with me in my pocket so I had easy access to it. When I went to Guatemala I hid my money in five different places. That way if I had been robbed I wouldn't have lost everything. I think it is better to look normal and then blend into a crowd. If someone dresses with lots of expensive jewelry they might get it stolen if there are thieves around. Yes, people should always consider safety when they travel but they should also enjoy being in their destination.

i saw that money belt a waist belt bag a simple flat bag! i saw that from a foriegner here lot of bag theres a vest type too hidden inside the clothing. we can protect our things for that unless its a holdaper we cant do anything just to give it to them. so better hide it some in other place so we can save some too, like under our pants and undies. and when we know some basic self defense.

Yes, sometimes we might put ourselves at risk and we don't even know it.

I learned the hard way the first thing to worry about when travelling is to take as little luggage as possible The time i went to England from Canada i was exhausted lugging around 3 bags Never again If i run out of something i will buy it in my destination .Good Luck

My parents insisted on using a money belt when we went to Europe a couple of years ago. I went to Europe a few years later and just used a purse and I was fine. I don't dress in expensive clothing, though, so I probably don't look like too much of a target.
