How close of a relationship do you have with your sister???

I have something to say here. First a small introduction. I have 2 real sisters. By real I mean blood relation we are children of same parents. I don't know what am i typing but hope you understand this. I am the youngest. I used to spend a lot of time with my sisters. We used to quarrel, fight but we had good bonding. We used to go out on lunch to movies to parks. By this I mean i really loved my sisters. Then my eldest sis got married and very next year the younger one also got married. And i was left all alone. I use to be in tears whenever I felt lonely, remembering them. As I grew old I took up a job. Salary was good and I was alone so I started spending it, I fell into bad company and...well you can understand. I was in debt, broke. During one of my job's training I met this girl. We used to sit together during trainings. Gradually our cords sparked and we came close. We used to address her as my sis and I took me as brother, she had no real brother. Gradually my life started coming back on track. One day I got married. Now the life changed again. My wife came to know about this girl and she took our relation in wrong sense. Abused me and abused her as well. Situation was so serious that we filed divorce. What next? I will continue tomorrow as it is getting late, its already 2.15 am. Please post comments on this.

I only have one sisterm, and she is my best, best friend. When we were younger, we were inseparable, she is older than me. All through school we were always together, her friends were my friends. I had friends of my own, but is was always with my sister. When she graduated from high school, I was lost. I then had to reconnect with my friends. She would ask me to go on dates with her and her then boyfriend, he did not mind. Of course we are now grown, and have our own lives, but every chance I can get to spend time with her I take advantage of it. We use to do each other's hair, share clothing, go shopping, we really enjoy being with each other.

Me and my sister are extremely close. She really is one of my best friends. she only lives about 15 minutes away so I get to see her a few times during the week and all weekend. Of course growing up it was different always fighting because we were only 2 years apart in age and sometimes had the same friends. Of course we didn't want anything to do with each other than. If I had to pin point the exact time that we got really close would of been about 8 years ago when I had became pregnant with my son and the dad bailed out on me. She really became my leaning post than and was my shoulder to cry on.

I have too sisters. The smallest one and me has a good relationship. I love her alot. The eldest one well I love her because the bible say we should love each other but to have a close relationship with her I don't want it any more. I tried on numerous times to have one and she keep on deceiving me so what I do is try and talk with her once every three months to see if she is still living and to keep contact with my nieces. In order for her to make me change my mind to have another close one she has to apologies for the things that she has done to me. These are things that have affected my life in the negative ways and stop me from achieving what I did want to at the time. I must say congrats though to and your sister to have a reunion that you both are enjoying. I wish you both all the best.

I didn't know that i had an older sister until i was 12 year old and hen she came to live with us at that point i hated her with a passion she came into my life starting taking over my friends and just doing everything i wasn't allowed to do. THen eventually we eneded up becoming good frineds then when my parents moved us to north carolina i only had her i didn't know anyone and we were becoming inseperable and i couldn't go a day without talking to her no we both have our own lives she still ives in NC with her family and i Live in NY with my family. So we were close and then moved apart. I also have two younger sisters but have never really been close to them. they know they can call me if they need something. I can call them if i need something we are always there for eachother but not that close

My Sister and I Always Have our Fights... But I am Glad she is there to tlak to ... I dont think I could go on in Life without her, But On the other hand.. somedays I can do without talkin to her , But I love her

I'm not sure how close my sister and I are. Sometimes I just want to beat her head against a desk but there are other times she's ok. I just know we snap at each other so much that it's just annoying.

I have 2 sisters. To one of them I am more like a parent than a sibling. It puts a strain on the relationship. The other I am closer to. But she lives far away. So we are as close as the phone will allow.

I am curious as to how close a relationship you all have with your sisters. I am thoroughly enjoying the reunion I have had with mine over the past month! She is awesome and I am so glad that we found each other again after an extremely long time of total separation. When I say separation I mean that we have not spoken even, in over 15 years!!!! Now we are catching up on each others lives and its a grezat feeling. We are both feeling quite abond now and I really needed this in my life as I have had some really horrible times lately. Congrats on a happy ending. I am happy for you and your sister. But why the long separation? My sister and I have had our good and bad times, but lately she has become my angel. She has offered helped in many ways I never thought possible. I been through some rough time but she came around and helped me a lot. We don’t talk all the time because we both work long hours but we make a point to get together on holidays. She lives 120 miles away from us, so I hate the long drive there. Since she is my only sister, we keep track of each other. she is a good sister to me and my kids and I am proud to have her as my sister.

i have two sisters. one of them always calls to check on me and make sure everything is okay. we talk at least once a week. we don't live near each other but we're still pretty close. my other sister doesn't realize how much she hurts me and even if she did she would say i ws over reacting.

I've got three sisters and I am closer to them than my own mother. We don't exactly think in the same wavelength all the time but I can freely express whatever it is that i think and feel and i know that they would understand...or at least try to make sense of it. We usually seek each other out for comfort and strength or just plain hanging out for coffee.

My sister and I are very close. I moved to Michigan 3 yrs ago and miss spending time with her. A month ago I went back home to see her. As I was traveling by car she called and told me her husband rushed to the hospital the night before. I spent the week going back to the hospital until I had to get back home with her blessing that she would be alright. Things were looking good, that he might be able to leave and go to a nursing home until he could go home. Back on the road and she calls me crying to where I could not understand her. There was nothing the doctors could do for her husband. She told me to go on home and she would call if she needed me. A week and one day later he passed away. I made another trip back home to spend some time with her. I call her on her days off and she calls me when the days are just to lonely. I don't think I could live without her. We have had our bads times but we're always there for each other.

I have two sisters and they are kind to me, except that my eldest sister enjoys lecturing others and awalys thinks she's right. My elder sister is really nice, she has a good temper, In fact, I have never found she loses her temper. When we three are together, we ofen talk a lot about everything we can. I love them.

I can honestly say I don't have such a strong relationship with my sister as I would like. I try to reach out to her but my efforts aren't working. I thought that as we got older we would be closer but we've just grown more apart. And I hardly ever see her as is,even though we stay less than 20 minutes away from each other. It seems that since I had my two kids,she's grown jealous. But at the same time when I need her she's there. She only calls me when she needs something,like me driving to the store for her or something. But I love her,maybe we'll get there oneday where we'll talk.

I have just one sister who is a few years older than myself. I live in Minnesota and she lives in California. We have never been close all our lives. I see here maybe every 5 years or more though. I take care of our elderly father and she has yet to come visit in those 5 years. I have a few brothers that are close to me though. One visits from Michigan a couple times each year too. Hi....I am extremely close to my sister. We lived.in different states for a lot of years until last year.I moved back to Alabama so I would Be closer to family in my old age "lol".We go shopping together every weekend.It is so good to be able to see her when ever I want to now.We were close when we were younger and then I moved away. It was forty years before I moved back,SO I am enjoying the time I get to spend with her now.She is a wonderful person.I am glad you was able to get back with your sister.Enjoy the time you have together.God bless you.Have a great day.
