Icome? Fuel Shortage? Hurricanes? Gas Prices? Market? Driving anybody nuts other than me? Hit me people... What's your take on it all? Anyone recall Black Monday in 87'? Is this all just the way of things? It's a little overwhelming to say the least, frightening maybe! What is the explanation for such things in this time and how do we handle them? What is the answer...?? What's to come.....

Let us assume that Bush's $700 billion replaces what is missing calling it a bailout. My concern is if that amount is missing where is it?. How can everybody be calling for a bailout to rectify larceny. All those involved in giving away what is not theirs and those who took huge bonuses as reward to wreck the financial system should be held responsible. Rewarding these people for a lousy job will not help the working class.

You are too right and it is obvious to so many of us, but when are we gonna do something about it? When am I going to do something about it? What can I do about it? I feel like I am watching some really bad show and I cannot turn it off. It is unbelievable. And how can folks think that a bailout is going to fix all? Where do they think the first 100billion is going to? Where do we think 700billion is coming from? If things had been handled right a month ago, a year ago, five years ago, then we wouldn't be in such a mess. This is an immoral, irresponsible mess! I tell you it is frightening, especially if you consider what could be the purpose of such drastic measures in this country. Does anyone read, research about these things? It is pretty clear what is going on and who is to blame and who is gleaning from such dramatic times. When my father's stock plunged 41 points, the volume tripled overnight...hmm, go figure!

As far as I see it the stock market, banks, insurance companies, horse racing, casinos are all pyramid schemes. They all take from Peter to pay Paul and during the process pocket what they want for their efforts. You have to be careful with any transaction where all that you hold is a piece of paper.

Just try to relax. I've been stressing, but then I ealized that there's nothing I can do about it. We're kind of in a recessions, or at least the beginnings of one, but I doubt that we'll go into a full blown depression. Stock went up a bit yesterday, which means that people haven't completely given up hope. That, or they realized it's a pretty good time to invest. I hadn't been born yet in '87.
The election is almost over- we've only got a little over a month left. I'm sick of hearing about it, too.
We obviously can't control hurricanes.
Just try to relax. Turn off the news for a bit.

I tend to look at it all in a different light...
There is always a way to make money from this if you know how. There are some who make money off stocks when they dip and there are some who make money off foreclosures. Just ask Donald Trump.
Somehow there will be a way for those who have studied the markets
to rise above the rest.
As for gas...we know that there are better ways to fuel a car but the oil companies have a tight hold on our government so they can't ok these new (which in fact are really old) ways of using these ideas. This is from an agreement signed many years ago to keep us in oil as well as keep peace.
Hold on tight because it is going to get worse before it gets better.
History repeats it's self and this is proof.
We will survive, we are a strong nation who takes care of our own.

I say let it all go and don't let any of get to you. We should've all expected this anyway after 2001. No matter how much you worry and stress yourself out it won't fix what those running on greed have done. Just forget all their troubles and live life. You're alive so there's no reason to be frightened of such, in my opinion, trivial things.
Fear is a way those looking to socially-centralize this nation look to gain control of us. If you truly understand that you're an American then you also understand their concerns should not be yours. All your worrying will not fix a thing so it's best to rid your life of the liberal televised media that looks to keep you worried.

Thank you so much! Bless your heart!! You're wonderful!!! I guess I just sometimes forget that the main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. My Daddy owns the cattle on a thousand hills. I imagine the sun will come up in the morning, isn't it? :o)
