do you listen to music while driving?

i have a habit of always having my i pod on when im driving. my mom thinks its a habit becaus eshe thinks i wont hear cars honking at me if its loud, but i really dont mind it. i feel that the music makes me more aware of my surroundings but she thinks it will ditract me. do u guys listen to music while driving?

Yes. I sing along, too. Not quite as modern as you, I have a case full of casssttes. I did make a bunch of tapes from my computer. I got a cord thjat I hooked from my headphone jack on my laptop, the other end had RCA cords which I hooked to my stereo, went to project playlist.com, brought up my playlist, pushed play on the player and pushed record on my cassette deck. I got good quality Maxell tapes and they sound great. I guess you could sayt I mixsed modern technology with older technology.

Hey, thanks, grlsntgry! I didn 't expect that. I expected comments like why don't you just download it and put it on a cd, or get with the times, man. I do love doing it this way

Whenever me and my fiance go out somewhere we always have the radio on and it is always turned to one of the local country stations because we both love country music and we both like listening to it in the car,I have always listened to the radio when I am driving,because I can not stand to drive in silence because it creeps me out,and the radio is a good way to help me stay awake if I am tired and it helps me feel better if I am in a bad mood.

I usually don't. I don't know at what age I stopped but I always seem to listen to talk radio now and no longer listen to music. I listen to some political talk but usually a lot of sports radio and then some news. only a little music now days. Plus I don't have very far to drive to work so I am never in the car very long at any one time.

I listen to music all the time when I drive. I love popping one of my CDs into my CD player in my car. I almost never listen to the radio anymore. At least for music purposes anyway while driving. I will from time to time once I start getting bored with my CDs. But yeah, either way, I do indeed listen to music all the time while driving.
