let's talk about laptop.

My friends dad takes laptops and fixes them and sells them again. I bought a fully loaded dell off of him for half the price because it wasnt brand new, its amazing and works perfectly. The only bad thing is windows vista. I have alot oof problems with it. Especially my wireless internet, it just doesnt seem to want to recognize the single. Linksys wireless tends to have a lot of problems with vista and I havent figured out how to fix it yet. Right now I am on a desk top.

The last time I used a laptop was may years ago. Then I was using the HP 2000 series. Very heavy compared to some of the faster machines today. I missed the portability a laptop offers. Now a days, I am constantly on the computer, a desktop, in my office or my home. With the current increase in utilities, I am seriously considering moving my computer usage to a laptop. So you say you are using an Acer. Which model are you using?

i am have an desktop and laptop too. my laptop is travelmate 2480.. and its quite heavy.. i only bring it to school when we have some reports or presentations...i am thinking of getting an aspire one though...

i am using a desktop computer now , but it is inconvenient to carry , so i want to buy a laptop ,but i learn little about laptop , i only feel the sony laptop are good but they are expensive in general ,there are many students of me who ueing dell computers ,i do not know which to buy ,can you tell me which one i ought to buy ?

Am on a HP laptop, which is very fast, how are acer would you prefer somebody to buy them

I also using acer, it's good, but it just it too heavy to carry around.
