In a golden coral type buffet I hit the meat section then potatoes and finish with the veggies/other stuff, then I go back for desert...On a Chinese buffet I just follow and start loading up beginning at the fist section around to the last, I get my soup last after eating, no sushi.

The only buffet that I've been too pretty recently and to several times has been the local chinese buffet. I always go for the rice or noodles first and then get some chicken, or chicken and broccoli and some crab rangoons and an egg roll. Then I go back and get some other types of food like some black pepper chicken. Then I usually just end up adding up again on all of my favorites.

At any type of buffets, I would start with soups, then go for meat and vegetable sections (main courses), followed by desserts - cheesecakes, jellies, mousses. Usually we spend more time at buffets, so I would most probably go around for seconds.

When im in a buffet i first look for the japanese cuisine since it is my favorite. I eat alot of japanese dishes especially tempura and california maki. When im already full then ill be getting my desserts, one of my favorite dessert is blue berry cheesecake.
