there are always pros & cons of these situations. working for yourself means you are your own boss, there's no time pressure in meeting deadlines or anything. working for an employer is the other way around. it may sound a great deal to be your own boss but i still think it's best to work for an employer. why? because even if there are deadlines or pressure from the bossess' this would make you more efficient & effective at the same time. we have to admit, we always have the tendency to slack off knowing that no one is to command or pressure us. and slacking off means less work & less work done means less profit/money. there are many negative & bad experiences working in an office mainly because of colleagues' attitudes but i also think that although working from home is very comfortable, i can still associate it with slacking off. there are many distractions like the bed, the fridge, the tv.. and we all know what this means right? for me my house is my comfort zone & making it as my workplace would make me lazy. happy mylotting!

For me working for a boss is much harder. Pleasing what your boss wants and everything. Waiting for salary every pay day and your job security is always at stake so you have to do everything to save your current job. Being a boss yourself has a lot of advantages over advantages. Having more time for yourself and managing your money is much more an advantage for being a self employed person.

I think it is a lot harder working for yourself. It makes you either work harder or, be more lax since you are your own boss. It is also almost always harder working in your house because there is always the bedroom to invite you for a nap.Unless your self control is strong, then that's good.
