Fish

I try to avoid fatty foods now, and i try to eat fish, veggies and drink lots of water, but will it be healthy to eat fish often. I love meat but i know its not healthy so even if i want to, but i have to avoid it cause im not young anymore.Discipline my eating habit is what i am doing now, and i hope you can give me more some tips.

anything too much is not good, even if it doesn't contain harmful things for your body. I am trying to be completely vegetarian, which isn't hard, since I was raised eating mostly seafood and vegetables. the main reason is that I am against animal abuse. I have nothing against people who can't live without eating meat, but I have a hard time believing that abuse and torture to a living being is necessary in any way. It's enough already that we raise animals in the farm to be killed in the end to feed us, I don't see where abuse and torture should be done on top of that. Animals are abused practically everywhere, for money reason: the fur farms, non organic farms and even in the wild and then for who knows what reason: pets and small animals sometimes by their owners or some sick people. If eating meat isn't good for your health then it will give you even more reason not to eat it, there is a website that contains nutrition information of vegetables it's an FDA site you can use it to calculate how much nutrition you can get to replace what you used to get in meat. See your nutritionist or dietician to find out what else you need based on your age and activity. It will help you compile a balanced diet menu. Good luck.

That's great to hear! Vegetables, fruits, cereals and fish - good combination a a great way to remain fit and healthy. I work in health industry and as far as I know fish is very good even the ones with thick skin if they are grown naturally. They eat smaller fishes and the smaller fishes survive on algae and that means by the time we get to eat those they are rich in Omega 3 fatty acid. And as you know this Omega 3 is very good for our heart. Thanks.

Eating fish is very good for health...It is very helpful to keep your eye sight in good condition...You have got good food habits....Among all Non veg items Fish is highely recomended
