im not joking.. she has been complaining FOR MONTHS.. IF NOT A YEAR.. about how every time she goes to eat there is the ads.. im like uhhh well some people need them!! but she is totally upset and i just blew it off till i saw that she has made a list of their websites written down and she is literally going to EMAIL them to tell them to stop.. *head to desk*
i cannot believe she is in such a tizzy about it.. i dont even notice them that much but she is 67 so i guess her generation is easier to upset?? and then using elvis's song was the last nail in the coffin (mom LOVES elvis)
so where can i hide while she is mass mailing every erectile dysfunction drug there is?? anyone else in a tizzy as she is?? lol

Um i guess this doesn't go in your family, but when i was growing up dinner time was for you to talk to your parents about school, sports, friends, and whatever the hell else was going on. There was absolutely no TV during dinner. Even if the football game was on my dad would have to turn it off and come and have dinner then go back and watch it. What's weird is now that i have a son i do the same thing and my wife loves it. It's called values people, family values.

my family is obsessed with family values.. religion.. etc.. just never was a family that eats together.. never was raised like that.. and their table now you can still see the tv so if its going on you can still watch it.. no one really eats at the same time either

I am almost 30 and I think those commercials are super annoying. I know when I was growing up people complained abotu the tampon commercials, but I think those are 100 times worse. Wait, you know what is ever worse the the ED commercials, the herpes commercials.
The one that always makes me laugh is the asthma commercial were the people are like "but my symptoms kept coming back." well DUH you have asthma! I don't have asthma and I know it never goes way.
Are people so stupid that we need commercials about ED, herpes and asthma?

Personally, I would tend to agree that this would not be an appropriate time to show these commercials as well. They should save these for later in the evening, or on Cable type programs where something like this would be expected a little more as well. But I think there are ways she can make a complaint and hope for a change. She just needs to look for the number, etc. make the Call, and somehow hope enough people listen to change this.

Uh... Maybe she could just not watch TV while eating. Or maybe, she could pop in a VHS tape or a DVD movie to watch if she needs to watch something while eating.
