Songs you've heard on the radio..that really shouldn't have been played.

I heard one yesterday, was listening to BBC Radio Wales and they played Elvis Costello's Radio, Radio. That's an attack on radio broadcasters/presenters/talk show hosts controlling people, telling them what to believe and the people who vblindly listen to them complete with the line "I want to bite the hand that feeds me"and sarchasm re listening "to the voice of reason" Another classic one was a a few years ago now on BBC Radio 2, Janie Lee Grace went straight from reporting on an incident in London, peopl;e having to leave a crouded area when there was an electric blackout and how scary it, to The Smith singing "Panic on the streets of London". That song makes me laugh every time I hear it on the radio seing the chorus is "hang the DJ" and the whole song is inspired by/an atack on shallow radio djs playing meaningless music. Around the time of 01-03 (forget if it was near the begining of the conflict in Afghanistan or Iraq) a non-English station played Pink Floyd - Mother "Mother do you think they'll drop the bomb Mother do you think they'll like the song Mother do you think they'll try to break my balls Ooooh aah, Mother should I build a wall Mother should I run for president Mother should I trust the government.." good song just played at the wrong time. Got cut off early so maybe somebody realised/decided it wasn't appropiate. Speaking of non-apropiate songs one of Virgin Radio's old djs accidentally played the full uncensored version of The Who's - Who Are You (where they sing "who the eff are you" twice)

I can think of a few... Fuel by Metalica is regularly played on the radio here in the US. I can't think of one time any stationed "bleeped" out the F bomb in that one. The Pink Floyd song, "not now john" also has an F bomb that is never bleeped out. The whole first verse of "Fat Bottom Girls" by Queen celebrates pedophilia. The thing is, I like all three of those songs lol
