Well, there are a lot of people who choose to leave the original avitar on here for some reason. And some of these people have been members in here now for a long time. Maybe they just do not know how to go in and change this in their profile, or feel that it is best left alone. Either way, all it takes is someone getting to know your name in here, and an Avatar really does not matter.

yeah, what you said do make some sense.BUT when i saw a member with a default avatar,i may pay less attentio to it.i don't know why?i tend to go to some with a nice avatar or a werid one......i think its human nature to approach something different.ANYWAY thanks for your nice comment!

I think that you are new to Mylot. Welcome to Mylot.
When I see someone who have not yet changed tha Avatar, I would just feel that they have not yet found the way to change that. Lol. Not applicable to everyone. But to most of them. This is because, everyone will try to find that option in edit profile. But we won't be getting it there. Only in Preferences we can change that. Many will not be aware of that. This is the thought that comes to me. Lol.
A bit of advise for you. You have started a general discussion. Don't start like that. They don't get us much response. Start under some interests. This can be started in mylot.com interest. All the best to earn here. Check my blog for some mylot tips. That will help you to earn.

Nope. I didn't have much problem here with English. I feel comfortable with it. You will also get used to it. If you don't understand any discussions properly. Just read 2 or 3 responses. You will get the clear idea of what the discussion starter is saying. All the best.

I have two thoughts on that. First, I would rather people used the default avatar than to take a photo for their own use that belongs to someone else. Second, I do notice if the member does not have a personalized avatar, but I don't hold it against them in any way.

tobepure did it ever occur to anyone with a bit of brains, that if you didnt change the blasted avatar it was simply because you had trouble trying to do that, and just gave up on it. That does not make me a horrible person, or untrustworthy or any other crap.I find a lot of people here very judgmental when you dont know me, so how c an you judge me at all. thats so unfair.I am just like the rest of you. here to enjoy mylotting, to share and care, make a bunch of friends, and yes, even make a little money which I need very much. My opinion is my avator says nothing about who I am. while my discussions and responses do.

MAYBE,i have understood me.I'm not meaning to judge a person by an avatar!BUT,it do exsit.we all know that judging a book by its cover is not right and comtemptiable.HOWEVER it's easier said than done and i think a human nature to pay more attention to those which seems clear to them.I hope i have expressed me clearly.you see,i can't use ENGLISH quite well and some misunderstanding is unavoidable.THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT AND HAPPY MYLOTTING!

Am one of those who have not change his avatar, I get the point and which change it very soon, when you see a picture it's worth hundreds words that why it's just important that we change our avatar, definitely am going to in order not to look as more of a stranger in mylot. Thanks for the reminder.
