Don't get it??

I do sudoku all the time I am not that good at the very hard ones, but I do pretty good. The object is to not repeat the same number twice in a line or square. I have many books all over the house, I even have one in my purse for when I am waiting for an appointment (Doctor office etc.)

I know others who can't seem to get it, I have no trouble with the concept just in doing the simple ones, for some reason 3 and 4 star level are easier for me, It must have something to do with how your mind works. That doesn't me smart or stupid, just different.

I'm sure you know the rules already, all the numbers have to add up to nine etc! The way i do it is to find a box that has enough numbers around it to be able to find which number goes in there, once you've found one you'll be able to find another and so on. It takes a lot of patience though!!! xxx

sudoku? quite easy, you just read the tips on the books you bought. kinda hard to explain in words, better if someone can give you an illustration. ok I will try, let us be simple and just use a 3 by 3 column (which my 5 year old always do) the rule is you have to place the numbers 1 2 and 3 in any box but a number should not appear twice on any row or column. sometimes I use shapes on my toddler's sudoku, sometimes letters, he can now finish a 5 by 5 grid. i think if you will learn the basic of it, you'll be addicted

its easy... you just need to put numbers from 1 to 9 vertically, horizontally, and the 3x3 box, each number should appear only once... you should try the easiest sudoku first and you will know how to play it... it would be easy for you to solve hard puzzles after you knew how to solve the easy ones.

I like sudoku, im not the best at it but it is good to do of an afternoon when I am bored, easy really just got to get all the numbers 1-10 in a grid with out repeating them.

I don't know how to do those things either. my mother loves them, and I saw my Uncle's father doing one one time. I am not good with numbers, so I just can't get them. LOL

hi Anne, i'm a newbie at sudoku. my friend introduced me into it. i started with 3x3 and just the simple ones. It keeps me occupied when I have nothing to do and keeps me from getting bored when I am waiting for my turn at the bank's teller. Oh I love Sudoku! I've finished about 5 books and I still want to do more! LOL! Guess, I'm addicted to it, it reall is a great pastime. Anyway, I'm not really sure what about Sudoku that you didn't get. It's actually quite easy, you just have to put numbers from 1-9 and make sure that the numbers aren't duplicated in the horizontal and vertical view, as well as the cube view.
