Smoking; How did it started for you?

Heya friends and MyLotters!
This one is for the smokers ands the EX-smokers ONLY under us here in MyLot..Logical why as well, right? xD Anyway, just tel your story here about how you started with smoking..was it because of your friends? Didn't you know it was unhealthy? Or was it a drunk night?
Anyway..the last one counts for me! I was drunken in a bar, and I totally can't remember that night! Very strange..There is one thing I do remember which was the following day; I stood up, washed my face and lighted a cigaret! Without being even aware of what I was doing..3 cigarettes later I quite waked up! I thought..what the **** am i Doing?? XD Anyway..still smoking now 4 years later! Sadly enough!

i started smoking when i was 15..it was peer pressure actually..all of my friends smoke and i tried it just to be cool with them...at first i didn't like it till i got to the point of getting addicted to it..till this time i still smoke..i wanna stop and i tried many times but i wasn't successful not even near to it...its so hard i wish i never tried it..

The second time I took up smoking I new it was unhealthy but that did not mean I would get sick. Then I got bronchitis and the doctor said give up smoking or will get emphysema. No maybe here. If you get bronchitis and do not give up you will damage you lungs to the point that you will get emphysema and that is incurable. In fact it makes you drown in fluid in your lungs and that is not good.
So I gave up for the second time in my life. 2 months now and I will never ever ever start again. I have been warned.

well,i dont smoke,but i nearly become a smoker,it started when i was 9years old, and my friend teach me how to smoke.i did smoking,but only 1 puffed,i collapse.i got dyspnoe,due to my asthmatic condition which i had since i was small.well,it's surely safe my entire life,because since that,i'll never ever touch ciggarete ;-)
