Each of us have our own opinion about the bailout issue. Our arguing here about the issue won't do any good So please call your Senator today to let your opinion be known by someone who can do something. Please call the Capitol Switchboard to tell your Senators how you feel: 202-224-3121. Its time to make our voices be heard.

I heard on the news yesterday that the switchboard was overwhelmed with calls and that the mail server had to be shut down due to the incoming email traffic. I've always believed in letting my state representatives know my views on important issues but I think folks will have a hard time getting through today.

I've emailed 'em several times the past few weeks here, and I'm promoting the protests.
But I think you're awesome for making the point: talking about this is fine and dandy, but if we don't DO something...then...*shrugs*
I believe inflation is the bottom line and have told them as much.

Yes, this is a very good idea. Maybe if we flood the switchboard with calls and backlog their systems with emails SOMETHING will finally be done that we can agree on! I have been sending a lot of emails lately, but have not gotten any responses as of yet.

I would ask senators and members of congress to read this article and get on with it, because if we don't pass this bailout we could well be in for something much worse (at least if history is any guide)

And if they vote it down a second time, I think we can kiss our economy goodbye!
