There is one song that remind me about being a woman. The lyrics goes like this:
"Let her cry, for she's a Lady,
Let her dream, for she's a child,
Let the rain fall down upon her,
She's a free and gentle flower, growing wild...
"The question of the essence of being a woman is always at the core of who she is, how she perceive herself, her role in the society, her position in the family, as a mother to her children, as a wife to her husband and the like are important for us to understand, to really value her worth. Just wanna ask all of you: What really is the essence of being a woman.

Yes I agree. Meaning she must stand by their side...become a para-help in times of difficulties. Willing to comfort and to extend a warmth affection in season and out of season..cheers

The essence of being a woman lies in the fulfillment of her role as defined/ purposed by God's word in the book of Genesis; first she must be a marriage partner, for the very purpose of her creation is to be a suitable partner to the man. She was called by man, "bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh" for this very expression reveals the ordained role of a woman to the man . Second is for her to bear children as testimony to being blessed by God.
The book of proverbs beautifully brings the point of home of being a good wife and a mother thereby fulfilling the very essence of being a woman , let me quote in part:
A wife of noble character who can find, she is worth far more than rubies . Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She bring him good not harm all the days of her life. She watches the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed, her husband also and he praised her. Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but the woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Our essence lies on fulfilling God's ordained purpose in our lives.

hi the essence of a woman is to be herself, yet to be a loving mom, a caring wife, and a helpful citizen who cares about her
hometown. She has compassion, caring, strenght, and a good
'and caring heart. She can weather storms and good times too
'and come out on top. She is a friend, a lover, a mom, all those things in one complete package also she is a helpmate who will go to work willingly to help her husband care for their family.

The essence of being a woman is to live a balanced life. To maintain her charm and beauty, to become loving and supportive to her husband, to nurture their children, to rule the household and to protect her family thru planning ahead and becoming prepared for the difficult situation that may arise in their life.
