I hate it when I have to repeat it!

Hope this one goes through.
I for sometime is pissed when I finally found a topic to respond to and clicked the button respond to this discussion, typed what my thoughts are and finally I had it all out then pressed the submit them boom, the page had an error. And there is no way to recover! All those brain cells that I used are gone so as the page. And I hate it when I had to repeat what I already typed. It happened to me not only once.
Have you ever encountered this problem? I think my connection is the problem.
Ok I'll be pressing the start discussion button, holding my breathe...

I'm just new to this and I almost lost my first ever post. For some reasons, the page timed out when I tried to preview my response. I got frustrated because I invested so much attention to it and it just disappeared right before my very eyes. I refreshed it, went back, refreshed the page again to no avail. Fortunately, when I tried to log back in, I got my post back. I felt so relieved.

Yes that has happened to me already and it seems to be the most annoying thing ever. It seems to require twice as much effort to do it again and chances are you will never be able to write it the way you wrote .Granted there are times when you can do it better but sometimes this is a rare occurence.Dont get discouraged though

Yeah it is the most annoying, irritating, bothering feeling. I do sometimes copy my response before pressing submit just in case it would go down again(especially when I responded too long enough to be able to even have the strength to repeat it).
And I agree with you, that in some rare cases when I was trying to repeat what I was suppose to respond, the response I came up with is more organize. Maybe because it is my second time thinking about and I already know what I wanted to tell unlike for some instance that I just type what comes into my mind and sometimes it is not that organize because I just thought of it in an instant.
Hope you are doing fine too.

Me too. When I forget to copy first my response and then my connection seems to be not working so well I just hope and pray that my response would get through. There are times when it does and of course there are times (and a lot of them) that it does not.
Let us just keep hoping and praying.

yes sometimes it so happens it happened with me, while i am responding or posting some thing the page goes off and all the matter seems to have gone down the drain!!
and it is not practically possible to re type the same content with the same intensity using the same words!!

Yeah and while I am trying to retype it I just have this irritated feeling that I already did this and just can not type the exact words or thought and there is also this feeling that what if this goes down again and this thing I am doing right now would again be wasted.

Hi leixa! I used to have this problem when I'm using IE and world browser and I didn't do anything that time but to cope with it. But now I change and use firefox now and its seem to be fine. I'm not sure if the problem is the connection, actually I'm hopeless when it comes to computer and whenever theres something wrong in my computer I just wait for my husband to fix it.

I like to use mozilla firefox because i am comfortable with using the tabs here. I just hope that it would not happen again. It is easy to learn some basics in computer, I think you should try learning some. Before I was like you but since I became a programmer and had to deal with computers everyday I learned how to fix some bugs but this bug I still do not know.
