Do you all practice contribute to charity? by money or personally helping those person needs help like old folks home? For me, i every 6 weeks i will help the uncle in old folks home to shave their beard, the reason because they are sick and can't hold the shaver properly. Hope to hear more good news and ways to help others.

I donate to an organization here in New York where I live called "God's Love We Deliver" it is a charity that cooks and delivers one free nutritious meal every day to the homes of people who are living with HIV/AIDS and can not cook for themselves. http://www.godslovewedeliver.org/ I admire the volunteer work you do going to the "senior home" and helping the men shave. Your a good man!

I've volunteered for Catholic CHarities in the past in their food line for the homeless as well. A great feeling helping anyone in need actually. Makes my heart feel so warm etc. I shave my dad and give him haircuts as well as a lot of other things he can't do for himself like cooking meals etc. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi there adiantys78 I regularly give to charity by giving them my unwanted items. I also give money to people in the streets collecting money and I also buy stuff from charity shops. Most recentyly my son's school was collecting some money and plasters/bandaids from the children to send to Russia. As I am a single parent to 3 young children I do not as yet have the time to support charities physically but I hope to when all my children are at school full time.

I give a lot of my old cds, dvds, clothes, books, unwanted items, some even new to the charity shops to help them raise money, I could sell them easily on Ebay but I think no, I would rather give them to needy people who would appreciate them more and I am helping the community as well. I also support charity shops as well by buying goods from them and when I have used them or no longer need them I will give them back to them to sell again. Together mum and I did a big house clear out and together we took everything to the charity shops, they were very grateful and we were satisfied that we had helped others less fortunate than ourselves. I do admire you for volunteering to help that is very commendable.

Hi Wolfie34, that's great, for me if we have the heart to help others, it already great. For the volunteering jobs, if you wish to, you also can join some of the NGO (non government organization).

I am a addict/alcoolic. I atttend and visit my A.A. club a lot. I donate cahs each time I go as well as I help out a lot doing many things like speaking at meetings and or conventions, jhelping with their fuindraisers cooking etc. A lot of help given to the A.A. club. Also ever so often I do donate to American Red Cross. My biggest donations I would say is that I am my fathers caregiver. He is 84, in bad health and lives with my wife and I. I tend to his needs/wants each and every day 24 hours a day. Not a job, not a chore, but an honor I feel to be able to help him. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi adriantys78, i like to contribute to charity but at this moment i am not able to provide or contribute a lot to them. Thus i have selected to give my service, that's where i help old folks to clean on their daily chores. Is really a challenging tasks and many people don't like that. Even it is not a big contribution, but i feel that at least it help in certain extent. =)

This eathquake is really a killer ending many lifes with it especially, many school childrens. till date, after quake tremors are still happening impeding the road to recovery of the people. it was really heartwarming to see so many people from all over the world helping out in one way or another. many rescue teams from various countries arrived to render assistance immediately after the quake and i salute everyone who has play a part in the rescue mission or donations. Let hope that there will not be another one disaster of such a magnitute in any part of the world in future
