I had my first child at around 32, and my second child at around 34...I wanted to have my first child at around 27 as that is when we started trying but I kept miscarrying then had an ectopic, then found out that I had a hormonal imbalance that was fixable but with the ectopic I lost my tube and no doctors were willing to work with me so I had to do IVF and we had our first child that way, our second child was with herbs, no doctor intervention and with having only one tube she is a total miracle, and everything is fine with her, she was a perfect pregnancy, in every way, we conceived without doctor intervention, she was not in my only remaining tube and I was able to conceive with having just the one tube so I could not have asked for anything better!!

I had actualy just turned 17. I finished high school got married and was alone most of the time. I have never regretted one day of it. I divorced her father after 2 years and made sure when I remarried he would loved her even more than me. After 20 years he and I are still married and have had 3 other children. She has had 2 children of her own and loves them as much as we love her. It was hard at times and of course there are things I would do different but having her is not one of them.

I had my first child at 25, almost 26 years old. And my oldest was born the day before I turned 30. I have 3 kids. So, I had all before I turned 30 so I could keep up with them. LOL
But many women are waiting longer than I did, and some start earlier... there's a huge range there.

I was 19 when I had my first daughter, and 21 when I had my second daughter.
I don't understand why the topic of where someone is married or not is a valid response. because the question was "how old were you when you had your first child?" not 'are you married or not? and do you have kids?' jm2c
