The Fisher King

A friend of mine told me about this fantastic book and said "you can't stop reading it! This book is a MUST" So I gave it a try and, in my sincerely opinion, is one of the most boring books ever. Is The Fisher King, a best seller by A. Powell. I don't know why it's a best seller, frankly I won't even read it again. But that's just my opinion. I wanted to know if anybody else has reading it and what do you think about it.

I have not read it yet but I know there is a movie based on it (not seen it yet either but I believe I kinda know the plot). I think that not all books are created equal or for everyone, there must be an element in the book that people relate to it.

I saw the movie whit Robin Williams, but unfortunately it has nothing to do with the book. Both movie and book are based on the Arthurian legend of the Fisher King, but they are not related.

I did not read the book, but would like to share my opinion. One cannot like every book they read. There are certain people who call Harry Potter to be time waste, but I really like the book. It is all a view from which they read the book.

If it's the book they made the Robin Williams movie, I think it's a good book to read if you get a hold of it. I've just seen the movie (actually just a part of the movie), and it was impressing. I'd like to read the novel too.
