Are you looking forward to the Halloween event and quest?

In the behind the scenes on Runescape's home page, Jagex tells us that the Halloween event will coincide with a quest. This quest can be done by non-members during the same period that the Halloween event is in effect, but members can do the quest at any time. Having just become non-member recently, I am looking forward to the quest. I've had all the non-member quests done for quite some time, and would enjoy having a quest to do. I always participate in the holiday events, and definitely won't miss this one. Do you plan on participating in the quest and the event, or just one or the other?

I'll be all over it the day it comes out & probably be writing up the guides for it. Hopefully the rewards will be amusing.

Yes, unlike last year, I don't think we already know what the Halloween reward will be. I'm hoping for something on par with a rubber chicken. The rubber chicken, for me, is by far the most amusing holiday item.

I'd be happy with something like the scythe. I was upset I missed that event when my computer got fried by lightning.

yep, i think ill do both, and why not, its not like theres always something new to do in non-members, so its nice to have a chance to do something diffrent. I really like how when new things come out in runescape everyone is kind of doing themm at the same time, you see people everywhere you go doing what your doing. I am not really into quests, there npot my favourite things in f2p, but in members, they are heaps of fun and some have great rewards. Other wise, i am only doing them for the rewards which at my level, no f2p quest in ever good enough :P happy mylotting!

I've never been big on quests myself, but with none left to do in f2p, I'm looking forward to having one to do. I have to admit that even though it causes crowded areas, I like the way everyone seems to be doing the same thing the day the holiday events come out.

Jagex will show on the homepage of their site when the holiday event is added to the game. If you read the article they post on the homepage about it, it normally tells you where you start the event. They normally don't give you all the information needed to complete the event, but they do normally create a page in the knowledge base that gives you the basics. If you're the type that likes to get started right away, then you can start and try to figure it all out for yourself. Often the events are easy enough to do this. If you are doing the event on the first day that it's released, and get stumped as to what to do next, you can browse the Runescape forums for information on how to do the event. Usually there are sites that will post walkthroughs of these events the same day that they're released. If you have have trouble, you can check one of them. The ones I know to be safe are: http://www.runehq.com , http://www.zybez.net , and http://www.tip.it/runescape/

Yeah, I definitely plan on participating in the Halloween event this year as well as the quest. I always enjoy the holiday events. I'm a non-member as well, so it'll be nice having another quest to do. Like you, I've long since finished all of the free quests.

I never thought I'd see the day when I was looking forward to a new quest coming out. Of course in members, I still several I could have done. Now there are none, and I'm looking forward to this one.
