I think it is important for everyone to know that you can't change other people. You can only change your reaction to other people.
It's a very hard lesson to learn but it holds great importance and it's something that everyone should know.
O!!! and one more thing I wish EVERYONE KNEW....COMMON SENSE!!! its 100% lacking in this world and it's really sad

Hi cndn420,
That is so true, I recently have been accussed of alot of things to the point I was questioning my own self and wondering had I done it with the intentions I was been acussed of and I've just proved to myself that this person was making the wrong assumptions about me because I was accussed of setting up a website with a friend, the person accussing me of this had based this assumption on a comment left on my Mylot profile, so I've just looked at the comment because I couldn't understand and now I do the person has completely got the wrong end of the stick, the comment referred to my friends social network site they are setting up on their own and nothing to do with me at all. So yes I agree with you we can't change other people we can only change ourselves, your discussion really just struck a cord in me so I had to stop and answer you.

hi scorpio19
thanks for your response. im sorry that's happened to you, and you know what, something like that has probably happened to many people.
the best thing that people really should learn is that we can't change each other no matter how hard we try but many people still try to do it.
if something is seriously bothering you about someone its probably about your own self or something that you are associating it with ya know what i mean?
hope it all turns out well for you!! :)

Hi,
I think it will sort it's self out but I do very much agree with you there, if people are putting their own take on you and you know very well that you haven't then yes it does tend to say more about themselves than the other person I've always held that in mind and don't normally take other peoples negative opinions of me onboard but occasionally and especially by this particular person I found it very hard to take their accusations but it will all come out in the wash, has my mother would say..lol
Have a lovely day and thanks for your kind response.

But when you say you cant change people. Why cant you?
You can change their reactions, way of thinking. You can help them with their vision on the world? I dont mean you have to change their total way of thinking but you can easily let them think out of an other corner. Just explain them why!
offcourse some people will never change. But arent they stubbern and being stupid?
Common sense is really needed these days. Its the fault of the media.
But yeah, who am I? :

o i agree with you in the sense that stubborn-ness really does play a part in people not changing themselves...or they just don't like to be told how to act or what to feel.
but i believe you can react to things differently but even with a different reaction that person is still who they were before that different reaction. they still feel or think what they did but they go about it in a different way
yes...common sense...thats a whole other story LOL
thanks for your response

Hi cndn420, I wish everyone knew that we are all one, and that when you hurt another you are also hurting yourself. In the same sense when we help another we are also helping ourselves. Then we would practice the golden rule and make this a perfect world. Blessings.
