This is a shot of a tree near my daughters house in a large city. The streets and parking lots of stores are filled with these types of trees. I have no idea the type though. But I just love the colors of fall. Next week I qwill have other photos as qwell. I will be taking a walk through the Nature Center near me. Camera in hand of course. Is there an area near you to view the colors of fall you visit? I also live near the Mississippi River which is lined with trees. So I will also have to venture to the river bank for some viewing and photo taking.
Thanks all for letting me share the colors of a Minnesota Fall with you here.

[i]Hi Grandpa B,

OOOHHHH how maddening, I had a nice reply and about third from the last word I lost the whole dang thing. Anyway as I say I as well as many fellow mylotters just love your photos. Yes Fall makes all the autumn colors look so lovely, at times the fall colors are simply breath taking, however for a disabled person it is a huge reminder that winter is on the way and that's a punishment for me some days. Here in saskatchewan Canada we get some pretty nasty weather. Beautiful today it got to 28. Take Care.

I have problems with my legs in cold weather due to missing lymphnodes.
Anyhow the colors are getting very vibrant now.
I hate when the page dissappears on me before posting as well.
One night it happened every single time.
I got so frustrated I stayed off myLot for 4 days.
Hahahaha!

hiGrandpa Bob that looks just like a popular tree with its'golden yellow leaves, so big and so pretty. I love the turning of
the leaves in fall. we dont have too much of that here in southern California . there are a few gum trees that turn a
pretty crimson but that is about all. sad to say.

I do so enjoy your photos! I'm trying to get over my camera curse! Yes, I am photography illiterate.. or something.. My latest fiasco is I bought a (very inexpensive) digital camera.. then misplaced the cd that went with it for the downloading.. then found that.. and lost the (very small) camera itself! I've got all the pieces now.. I never think to bring a camera anywhere.. and if hubby thinks to bring it, we don't take any pictures! I'll tell ya.. it's jut a bit ridiculous!

Thanks for sharing the lovely photo of the yellow leaves that are ready to fall. Soon the leaves will be on the ground turning red, brown or gold. Children in particular will find it delightful walking on the leaves, hearing them crunch under their feet. I have a river side footpath behind my house and the leaves are beginning to fall. The scene looks really pretty with the golden leaves laying on the ground. One day I would like to see the fall in the USA. I like the autumn colors but the weather is getting colder and it gets dark early in the evening time. Have a happy time in the Minnesota Fall my friend.

Hello Grandpa Bob. It is autumn in my place as well, but the trees are still green, not yellow. I have a good look at the photo you took. It is a nice shot. Yeah, I also love to see the golden yellows of fall. There are two lines of trees along the campus path. They will become yellow soon, I guess, but probably late Oct or early Nov. Thank you for sharing with us the nice photo of yellows of fall. Good day.

The one nice thing about this time of the year is the colours that the leaves turn too. So beautiful, I find it sad that this happens as I know that it means they will go bald soon but at the same time I just love to see them in all the different colours.

i like autumn very much! i like the color of autumn, i like the trees of the autumn, i like the weather of autumn, i like the stories of autumn, i have lots of beautiful memory in so many passed autumn. i would sit quiet beside a tall tree in autumn, picking up some fallen yellow leaves, as the wind blows very lightly, the whole memory comes out on mind again. that's the real life..
