i must admit i rarely make an effort to wash my hands before eating this is due to the fact that i always wash them after going to the toilet and i am usually up to my elbows in dirty pots with my lot so usually have clean hands!

I wash my hand before eating. Washing hand is good for health. This because there a lot bacteria on the hand. People do use hands to hold many things in our daily life. Clean hand is necessary especially if giving baby to eat. Washing hand is hygienic and I always wash my hand before eating.

I always wash my hands before eating, to do otherwise would be unthinkable to me. When I was in nursing school it was always stressed the importance of proper handwashing. Other people can get very sick from people who don't wash, that's why the flu virus, and colds, get passed around so much! All kinds of bad stuff can be passed along...think the plague, diptheria, etc! Take this scenario: a person goes into the restroom and doesn't wash their hands afterwards, they touch the handle of the door when they exit. You come in and touch the door handle on your way out and poof, you've got their germs (and also the germs from them not washing after using the facilities! Yuk!) Then you go to eat lunch right after that, you didn't wash your hands, and now you are ingesting that. Please re-think your theory on not washing hands, the germs you pass on may go to someone who has an impaired immune system, and they could get seriously ill, or die from e-coli germs, or other germs that would cause them complications! I have a compromised immune system from a cancer episode, I have to be especially careful about picking up germs that wouldn't bother somebody else.

How many times do you get a cold or flu throughout the year? If they are regular occurrences I suggest you start making a habit of it. Not washing your hands after bathroom and not before eating (or any time your hands come into contact with your nose, mouth, or eyes) is the biggest factor in getting these very common diseases.

When I was a kid I was always taught to wash my hands before I eat,and to this day I still always wash my hands before I even go near good,I do think it makes a difference because washing your hands kills germs that could get onto your food and make you sick,I also have OCD which makes me have to wash my hands several times before I think they are clean, especially when it comes to eating or putting my dip in my mouth.

I offen wash about 10 times a day. I think we should keep our hands clean to avoid being sick.
