What exactly do you mean by extra money? I really don't understand what extra money means because i usually earn just enough for myself and my child. Could anyone explain what extra money means?

extra money means like; okay being that you just make enough for your child and yourself to get by, i'm guessing is what you mean by that. Well, why not make a little extra money for other things. But i'm a simple person and I am always buying for myself last and everyone else first! If I have extra money, it's very rare that I'll splurge on myself lol

extra money means, a money left or still have that is not included in your budget to pay electricity, water, internet, phone bills, your kid's allowance, house rent and food budget and even savings..it is the amount where you can decide what to do with it, not for your needs but for luxury, you can spend it or just save it..

well, for me when you say extra money., these are the money wherein you don't have anything to buy for or anything to do with it., or let say payday comes then you need to pay all the bills and shop for food ., anything beyond that basic needs that is what you called "extra money" ..., and it sometimes fall under our secondary needs ., right? have a nice day ahead!

I understand where you are coming from. Two years ago I actually had extra money to spend. I had a great job and I was making very good money. What did I do with that extra money? Well since I had never had the extra money before I went crazy with it. Bought a nice new truck and moved into a much bigger house. Started going to the beach every weekend and having all sorts of fun, spending all of that extra money instead of saving it. Now two years later that nice big truck is gone I had to downsize and get a smaller truck and I did downsize the house as well. I somewhat lost out on the truck situation but I moved to a nice house that costs less and has more acerage with it. When my kids were younger I spent all of my time raising them, working and going to college. Then the first big break I got and it was about to all pay off and I got so stupid. I am afraid I got downsized real fast and now I actually have less money than I had before I hit it big. That is such a crying shame isn't it? Extra money is money that does not have to go to bills. It should be monitored and used wisely. It is ok to get a treat once in a while but please save most of it if you can!
