I like sinigang on tamarind. Even though it comes from powder, i like it but much better if we use a real tamarind. That sinigang gave much energy and vitamins to us

My choice is the fresh tamarind that is picked from its tree. Sinigang na bangus or sinigang na hipon would be my favorite. Yum, I think I want some sinigang right now.

I like guava too although some despise the smell of guavas on sinigang but tastes so great for me. I like it too for milkfish. I love guavas in sinigang more than tamarind. My husband has the same taste as mine. He likes guava also. And yes we love it on beef spareribs! But my would son prefers the tamarind so at times I would do separate cooking for him...so his sinigang would be with tamarind and ours with guava.

I always want my sinigang in tamarind soup.
Fresh or powdered tamarind are fine with me as long as it has the tamarind sour taste. But I also like guava sinigang. I like the sweetness guava taste.

I love sinigang in real tamarind. It always remind me of my grandparents, as they used to make it. :) I also love sinigang sa kamias. I always eat the kamias, and the asim is a mixture of sweet and sour. :) At least for me ;)
