Abortion..... is it legal in your Country?

Abortion is legal in my home country up until 24 weeks pregnancy. It can be performed after that only if the mother's life would be in danger if the baby was born or tests have shown that the baby would be disabled. I found out at 36 weeks pregnancy that my baby son has spina bifida. A consultant told me I could have an abortion if I wanted one. No way. I decided to go ahead with the home birth that I had planned. I now have the child and he is an adorable 16 month old with a lovely smile. I would never have an abortion because an unborn baby is innocent and deserves to live no matter what. I think that I would keep my baby, not abort him or her. If that wasn't possible I would adopt my baby to a loving couple that want to become a family. I think that abortion is illegal in some countries and ladies sometimes have one anyway in unclean conditions in secret. Irish ladies can travel to the UK to have an abortion. Abortion is not for me but I respect other people's decisions. I would be happier if the time limit was lowered but this might mean some ladies panic and rush off to have an abortion before it is too late. If there was a complete ban on abortions it would suit me but some other ladies would be angry about that. I wonder what sort of person choses to perform abortions. Some ladies regret having an abortion but I imagine some people that perform abortion don't have much of a conscience. They maybe see it as right, but an abortion for me would be wrong.

abortion is legal here but they picky these clinics all the time here setting out front of businesses.iam going to say this there is never a excuse to kill a child. now a lot people say that it,s not a child yet but it,s a life and it,s growing in your body iam not trying to judge anyone this is how i feel.

in italy they are talking about it right now..to many teens are pregnant and they don't kno what to do with the baby..they usually trow them in the dustbin..
