Well I agree that China has become a favorite travel destination in the world. Post olympics, people all over the world have realised the beauty and culture of china. I think the great wall of china is one of the biggest attraction. The two stadiums that is birds nest and air bubble, which I saw in a TV are wonderful attractions. Appart from these, what are the other destinations to visit?

I plan to visit China one day in the future. To get there I hope to travel from London to Beijing by train. There is a train that goes from Moscow via Mongolia to Beijing. The journey would take almost one week if I did it in one go but I think I would do stop overs. I saw program on television last week and the man in it went though part of China. It was fascinating because he visited a village in the countryside that looked lovely and traditional. I would love to see the Great Wall, explore Beijing and see small villages. I would also be delighted to explore the places of interest that you would like to recommend.

I know it seems like a lot of people have not ever been to the country of China or do not ever plan on going,I am not completely sure why people do not visit countries like that, especially after the Olympic games that showed how good of a country China is,I have never been to China, and I probably never will, because I refuse to fly on an airplane,or ride on a boat,so I will not travel anywhere that I can not get to while driving.

As interesting, expansive, and unique as their culture is, I honestly don't have any plans to visit the country. I have nothing against chinese people, but I'm not that into much of chinese food, it's very crowded over there in the cities, I'm allergic to fish, and not to mention... lots of bad events/diseases end up coming out of there. SARS anyone? Or how about the recent incident with the baby milk? Let's not forget Falon Gong either.

yes I agree with you. Though I've not been to China My Dad and my husband have been there. So I've seen the photos and vidios of your country. It's amazing. The best thing you have in your country is the Great wall of China. One day I'm hoping to come with my family there to see the great wall. Olimpics 2008 was Super. That was the best ever Olimpics I've seen.

I have not visited China and don't plan to in the near future, but some day I'd love to go there. From the pictures I saw of it during the Olympics, it appears to be a very beautiful and interesting country.
