Nine years ago I lost 7lb 1ozs and 6lb 9ozs in weight, lost it all in one go and in the time limit of 4 mimuites!!
I gave birth to my girl/boy twins who are aged 9 today, they were born 2 mins apart, the little girl being older than her brother by 2 mins but he is now about 2 inches taller than her!!.
Not a real way to lose weight but hope it made you smile

Time does fly, cos other son is gong to be 11 next week we got them a joint pressie of an 8ft tramopline with net for the garden, we had a little 4ft one without net which we have given to our neighbour. Our garden is clayie so over the winter it holds the water and we can't really use the garden so its help them get out in the fresh air, its just outside the back door. Little girl has a dolls house nad the boys are having ds games and will give them extra pocket money this month to put with other birthday money so we shall be making Toys R us very rich this month!!!!

How weird is that my neighbour has just given my her 8ft tampoline with enclosure, well I gave her £30 for it but it was well worth it. Her son is 12 and is autistic and so some autistic charity gave them some money to have a shed in their garden so that he can persue his hobby of breaking things in the shed out of harms way and she told me in the summer that we would be able to have the tampoline because they would need the space. Then when I saw them have their trees cut down in their garden I assumed that they wouldn't need to get rid of the trampoline because they then had the space by removing the trees. Two days ago she knocked on my door and asked me if I still wanted it!!

Before i read how you lost it i was thinking how, tell me, i wanna do it! lol i don't think giving birth is really a viable option for weight loss though!! lol Well happy birthday to your twins, i hope they have a brilliant day, i'll be you've spoiltthm rotten!! They were quite big for twins eh? i should think you were relieved when they arrived so you didn't have to carry them anymore!! xxx

Congratulations to you Anne and belated birthday wishes to your twins. That is one of the nicest ways to lose weight that I have ever heard. I am sure that both you and your husband must be very proud to be the parents of twins and they were both a fine healthy weight too. Long may they continue to give you joy and happiness.

I lost weight like that too, but in the process of nuturing a healthy baby, I gained much more!! With my first child who was 8lb 7oz, I gained 65lbs!! Luckily it was easy to loose that weight, but by the time I had 4 babies, the weight didn't come off as easy.
Congrats on your twins birthday:)

Congratulations, and a very very happy birthday to them. That's the neatest way to lose weight that I can think of. I know of a woman who claimed that she lost 200 lbs the day she divorced her husband. LOL that made me smile too. haha Thanks for the smile today.

That's a great anecdote, Anne.
Giving birth is probably the fastest method I know of to lose a significant amount of weight. I used to secretly wish that I might one day have twins but it never happened.
