Annoying Friend

I have a friend name Jane (not her real name) We've been friends for almost 2 years because we stayed in the same class. She started hanging out with me and my other friends last week and I find her annoying. She's too childish and has no originality. She tends to follow the styles of me and my friends and we're kinda piss. At first she followed the cellphone model of my friend and when she saw most of us using I pod she also asked her uncle to buy one then other things followed...
What should I do?

I had a friend like this before, she would follow what we owned, and she would also start sounding like my friend and I, it was really annoying. I know she was trying to fit in, but I can't accept someone that is mimicking what I do every chance she gets. It seems like she will never not annoy you, it will really just continue forever since you noticed that she is annoying. What I did was just stop contact and become more like strangers, or you will live with negative thoughts, it's better to end it then go on being bothered by it forever.
