military dependent picture ID. Got to look good for my photo. I'll shower, comb my hair, etc. I had forgotten, but my husband didn't get up for work and I remembered. Good thing I have a suit for emergencies in my closet. It will be around 50 miles to the Air Guard to get it done. Do you have to get a picture ID for anything? How often do you have to renew it? Do you get dressed up, haircut, etc? How far do you have to go to renew? Do you ever like your picture? I hope we get to do something fun, too. This is costing my husband a day off from work and 100 miles worth of gas, but it's the closest since our base closed.

Enjoy your day out with your husband. I did have to have a photo snapped of myself when I went to work as a city employee about 7 yrs. ago. I was able to dress casually because my workplace allows this dress code. No photo taken is ever flattering so I always dread the final results. Atleast we don't have to wear our photo id tags.

Yes, I know, I had to wear a photo ID tag at one job every day, it was the worst picture of my life. I now have a double chin (inherted that from Dad, no matter how fat, Mom never had one)and all I could see when I looked at that picture was my double chin. Take care

I hated my ID at the schools, yep, double chin. Mine is not as bad as my friend's, and I will do periodic exercises for it. I have had my walk for today, now it is off to Wal Mart, we are out of trash bags. I want to get there before all the mommy's and kids do.

Well I only have my drivers license picture taken every three years and I think that this year is my year.. and yes I do get as cleaned up as possible, but the picture, isn't the best, I have had really bad ones, but my last one was ok..I am hoping that this years is even better, but I doubt it, most driver license picture are not great.. I only have to drive the three miles into town, so of course that isn't too bad..

Only one time my Driver's license came out well. I had my hair and make-up done before I got my picture taken. Wish I had done that for today, I look like a mug shot! Yuck!

Well, I hope you do something fun, as well. I have been to Vermont, cause we were in the neighborhood, so to speak. Bob's sister lives in New Hampshire, so the last time we visited her, we also took time to go to Montpelier. I sure am glad that Fire Fox fixed my spelling on that one. I am now to the point of only having a picture on my driver's license. My school related job was non-renewed, and that was the only other place I had photo ID. I renew driver's license every seven years now, I think. The driver's license place is only three miles away. Oh, I have a photo on my Sam's Club card, but they never change it, just renew it yearly.Sam's Club is thirty miles, give or take. So, how often do you renew this ID? Who are you a military dependent of?

Every 4 years we renew it. My husband is the Golf War Veteran, he retired Military from the Air Force as a Technical Sgt. They make you bring the person you're a dependent of with you. For my driver's liscense, 25 miles away. Funny, I stopped off in New Hampshire on the way to Maine before. I'd like to go back. Thanks for responding and take care.

I don't have to get a picture ID anymore. I used to need them for my job up north. I do like for my hair to be freshly trimmed before getting an "official" pic taken. I rarely like pictures of myself, but I don't think that's too unusual. Do you need the picture ID to shop in a commissary or something? Just wondering. Take care.

For my insurance, I have military dependence insurance. I can also use a commissary, but with our base shut down, it's at least a couple of hours away. If we had a base closer by, I could use the gym. That would be really, really nice. I like my hair recently done, but not recently cut. I have them cut severely and then I train it to what I want. So that's a couple weeks after my hair is done. I do that kind of cut because my hair grows really really fast. Instead of having it cut every 3 weeks, I do a more severe one and then I can go at least 5 weeks. Reminds me, I need my hair cut, it's way overdo. Thanks and take care

I need to get my passport renewed but as I can't afford to go on holiday it hasn't been a priority. When I do it will be a case of shower, combing my hair and probably using a hair drier to get it looking good. I don't know why I bother as the photo will be terrible anyway.

Only picture I had come out well was when I had a hair stylist do my hair and make up before my driver's license picture, My picture was horrible today. My hair looked really, really bad.
