BABIES:how come girls would want a baby girl and guys would want a baby boy?

Hi punkix,
well that is not true of me I always wanted all boys and never really wanted a daughter although I do have a daughter and love her very much, I just always wanted boys and my first born was a boy too.

I really don't have an answer for you it was just the way I felt and I think I was right wanted just boys because I have found boys are so much easier to bring up then girls.

Yes I totally agree with you. In my case I always wanted a girl to dress her nicely. Put pigtails with colourful hair bands and clips. You can't do these kinds of things with boys. But I know though he did not tell anything he was longing for a boy. Now we have two girls and my hubby loves them a lot. I don't know how my hubby feels but now sometimes I feel I should have had a boy.

yeah neither you get a boy or a girl, the love is always conditional :) but what i hear most is that most women want a baby girl so they can dress them up, put make up on them, etc. just like what they used to do with their barbie dolls when they were kids. i guess that interest is carried on until they get older. hehehe its just a theory of mine :)

So that girls can dress their baby girls with the dresses they would want to wear while boys play with their baby boys with their favorite sports.

I always wanted a boy first and it happened and then i wanted a girl and that happened to too..and after that another boy,and then another boy and then another girl..Love my children!

Well, I have noticed it other way around. Mothers want baby boys and fathers want baby girls.
In my case I was slightly like you said. I wanted a Boy at first and my wife wanted to have a baby Girl just to oppose me. However, we got a baby girl and we are very much happy with her.
