I am happy even if my birthday wish didn't come true, do you think it's true?

I had my 20th birthday bash yesterday... my truest friends were there and even my exes... and they all got along pretty well... it was a great day... everything was almost perfect... except for one thing... my birthday wish didn't come true... well what is it? I just want to be back in the arms of someone I truly love... I've been broken for 7 months now since my most recent ex broke up with me... well she was there yesterday... everything seemed to be ok between us... but still she couldn't grant my wish... I didn't have to ask her... in fact I didn't have to let her know... because she knew even if I didn't tell her... but still of course it hurts... Anyway yesterday was fun... overwhelming... it was like what I wish it would be... my friends from everywhere got along pretty well... and so did my exes... I couldn't have asked for more... in fact it my wish came true it would just be a big bonus... Do you think it's possible to be this happy even if my wish didn't come true?

I think it is more than fine that you could be happy even you can't get anything that you want. I think that's the real happiness. The real happiness is that when you can be happy without anything. The true happiness that comes from your heart. The real happiness that makes you happy even you don't get everything. If you can feel that way you would be happy for yourself not because of the existence of the other. Congrats!! I think your birthday got you a little bit more mature this time :)

wow... thanks... I never thought of that... well I guess I did... I turned 20 yesterday so I guess I should be a little more mature by now... thanks again...

That's really good for you. Since people said that being older is not always being wiser, for you who become wiser in this young age is such a good improvement. People develop and you develop yourself so well. I believe that you would be a successful person if you can maintain this development. I wish you good luck and belated happy birthday for you :)
