Where is the Country in Country Music

when I was growing up there were defined lines in the music bussiness. Today those lines have mingled together, old rockers are now on the country charts,makes me wonder if they couldn't make it in the pop sector. Todays country is a pop list with a little country music mixed in.. Not sure how to take this new style. What do you think of the newest country??
