hi users as you all of know mylot usually does not allows to copy paste in topics due to spamming policies and users with ratings above 500 can do this only so the users who have reached this raknking how much you use this feature and how you post using this feature also tell the persons who are striving very hard to reach this ranking how will you utiilize this feature eficciently or you will just use it once or while

I see some uses for it like say you use mircosoft word or some other word processor to do your discussions in advance then all you would have to do is just copy and paste your discussion in mylot...thats one good thing about have this feature.

Copy pasting is really helping for me, especially when the connection speed is low. I usually type in notepad or somewhere else and copy paste it here so that I don't have to wait until the form come up to be able to start typing. I didn't think about racing to the 500 posts before, because I don't really understand why people use copy pasting. I didn't like copy pasting other people's work, but then after I got the feature, I knew the use of the feature. And quite helped by it. But I worried that people would do massive one line posts just to be able to reach this far in the mission of spamming in the end. I hope that's not gonna happen, because I would surely report them

I use it almost everytime I start a discussion. The glitches here making the pages and all typing go away are the reasons actually. I type a few sentences then copy so if it is lost I can paste it and continue further. It has been handy many times when the poage goes blank on me. It still infuriates me even though I saved it. Hahaha! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Well, I rather read about a topic, and reply what I understand of that topic instead of just copy and paste. Or rather, I can quote.

Good morning/afternoon/evening to all of you wherever you are on the planet. I am looking forward to being able to copy and paste, because of my severe vision impairment. It will be so much easier for me to type my discussions in a document in large print, so that I can read and make corrections as I go, and then be able to set them up in the posting area. I still have a ways to go for both the 200 mark, so I can use the emoticons, and the 500 mark, so that I can start copying and pasting. Maybe someone should create a discussion with the copy and paste instructions for those who don't know how to do that. Someone taught that to me several years ago, and it has been the best thing I have learned to help me with emailing and the web in general.

yes at the time you will reach this limit u will get teh habit of fast typing and you can easily complete 4 to 5 lines in just one or 2 minutes but this can be used when you are suspicious that you have typed a lot and your page or connection is about to break and you copy and save it

I tend to press Ctrl and A on the keyboard as soon as I have typed in a long response in myLot, because I have known in the past for the page to crash and having to start the post all over again. If I have it on my clipboard, then there is no problem. Just off to do it now! :-)

Hi! I didn't used the copy-paste command that often, I used it usually for safety reasons like when there are glitches or when the connection kinda become too slow and suddenly will cut off. It was very useful I must say, on those events, really thankful that I can used it. Unlike before when I didn't reached my 500th post yet, when the connection was fluctuating, there are times that my posts weren't submitted. I'm quite angry and disappointed on those times and make me not to re-type my response and not to post at all.

Hi nutanjain, You know with over 4000 points I have I still do not know how to cut/copy and paste, aren't I stupid or what? but I don't have the need to use them somehow, maybe if I know how to use it I will start using it. Tamara

I usually using it to move my sentences for second senences to the first sentence. I don't use it to copy another sentence from my previous response or other source to become my recent response. So It can say that, I don't very often use it. Keep post Happy myLotting...

I've never used the copy and paste. I guess I never thought about it until now. I guess it would be easy to type my discussions and then copy and paste like the other people said. I just never gave it much thought. I think I'll give it a try.

It is actually convenient to copy and paste if you could find a good subject and are familiar with the contents of it. I think it is good only if you now the subject well as it is easier to answer to your responders.

Hello nutanjain. I am so happy for this function that I can use after 500 posts, but in fact, I do not use it very often, only once in a while. Keep up posing and you will soon reach 500 posts. Happy posting, friend.

I haven't used this feature yet. I have been in myLot for quite some time but still have not used this 500+ post feature. For me copy and paste is just like piracy, stealing intellectual property. I only approve of copy paste if credit is given to the author.
