I fell for a hackers trick now I'm accountless I'm really depressed what would you do in a situation like this??

Try your recovery questions & such to get it back. If that doesn't work start a new account & be more careful.

That's a shame. This is why Jagex has all those tutorials & warnings about this stuff. The cheaters are always on the prowl & you may not recognize them.

so, what really happened? care to share i lost my account once and got it back a couple of days later when i mailed the support that my password were stolen. i told them the complete details about my account, my previously set passwords and some other random stuff like ppl in my friends list, in order to prove that it was my account and i am the real person who is claiming it. u should mail jagex support ASAP and hope that they'll reply to ur query. until then, start on a new account, that's what i did after i lost my account cause i didnt really hope that my previous account will be recovered. and dont be depressed... it's just a game

what really happened was my "friend" said he'd make me a mem for free he said he needed my password and i trusted him and guess what he changed my pass. i got my account back and that evil son of a ***** said to me "looks like i lost 1m" so i figured he wanted my 1m and he cancled all my recoveries looks i was lucky i changed my password so many times.

the 'friends' on runescape shouldn't be trusted that much. u learnt u lesson the hard way though.

take it easy. runescape is just a game. you can either quit the game or just make a new account. i know there are websites out there where you can buy runescape accounts too. For example, a good website to buy Runescape Accounts is sythe.org.

never give your password to anyone--try to use different password for every account you have that way you are sure that if one sites gets problem. but its sad that you consider him a friend and betray your trust
