I think someone started the drinking game way before the debate started. What debate are YOU watching anyway???? Palin is blowing Biden AWAY with her intellegence and poise. So much for the bad rapp and the many laughs that were made over Palin being "stupid and not able to answer a question straight". If you can't see that she's got her act together and has great knowledge of what's going on, then SHAME ON YOU. The funny thing is that Biden KNOWS that she's knowledgable.....look at the teeth on this guy as he smiles from ear to ear when Palin makes her points. As if to say "I'm not getting out of this one without some scars". Gee, I wonder who the late night arena will laugh about tonight? If they laugh at Palin, then I guess they started the drinking game early -- right along with you.

I'm still watching and I think she's doing great. I also think Biden is doing good.

Drinking games and politics? What a great idea. Let's take a drink every time a politician somewhere says something stupid. Let's take a drink for every dollar the idiots in Washington spend unwisely. At that rate the country will be drunk for many years to come. tehehe

There was one thing that stuck out to me and it seems to have caught on with the pundits I'm listening to at least as well - In answering a question on the role of the vice-presidency, Palin appears to call for an increase in the power of the vice-presidency. Er — how about no? She also backs D1ck Cheney's view that the VP is neither part of the executive nor the legislature. She says "also" a lot, also. We're just coming off eight years with the D1ck Cheney as V.P. and Palin actually says she'd like to increase the power of the Vice Presidency. Among other things that stuck out for me was her blatant refusal to actually answer the questions that were asked and her changing the subject whenever she felt like it, which was pretty much the whole debate, the fact that we can probably not expect to see her do anymore interviews since she apparently think someone had to tell us she sounded like a moron and her seeming lack of humanity or compassion after Joe Biden came close to breaking down when speaking about the loss of his wife and daughter and nearly losing his two sons and she didn't blink an eye but went right back to her script of calling McCain a maverick. I also now know she can wink, quite well in fact. Oh, and she still hasn't learned how to pronounce N-U-C-L-E-A-R. (Sarah, it's not spelled "nuc-U-ler".) Annie
