So, you must have heard about netbooks the new 'innovative' technology. If yes, do you like them, which one is your favorite? Mine favorites are the Acer Aspire One and Dell Inspiron 9 - both cheap, cool, and grt features!

Well, I don't like netbooks. They are cheap and light, but 'light' on features too. I think that most smartphones are capable of matching the functions of a netbook. I like computers with heavy specs, because I can do more things with it. People who own a netbook may be disappointed when they couldn't do stuff such as video editing or gaming on netbook due to low specs. They may end up buying a laptop later on instead.
But still, its cool that it is very cheap now. Students definitely benefit the most from netbooks.

Yes, but netbooks are not meant for gaming and video editing. Laptops are for that. Netbooks are just 'second laptops'. Not meant to replace a laptop. Oh and netbooks are much more capable than smartphones as they run XP or linux which are mainstream OS's capable of running all Apps which smartphones cant!

Quite frankly, I never heard of netbooks. On reading your opening discussion, I just found out what it was. I cannot make a judgment on it, until I actually see and try one out. Will do so though. I'm curious about it.
