There are so many ready to eat food that you can buy anywhere or you can even make a delivery call if you want a food to be delivered in your house or you can even buy instant/microwavable food that anytime all you have to do is just heat it. What about you, do you still prefer to cook your food rather than eating such instant foods?

Oh yes, we still cook our food. Those instant or microwavable food and delivery food from fastfoods are convenient but they don't taste as good as the "real" food. Aside from that you could save a lot if you buy and cook your own food instead of having it delivered. Happy eating!

So nice to hear that you still appreciate the natural way rather than those instant foods. you're right, you can save more money if you just cook your own food. Thanks.

You are right in saying that there are so many ready to eat food options available that there is hardly any requirement to cook at home.More so if you don't have the time to cook everyday. Its a good thing because one need not go hungry if one doesn't cook. The ready made food with the good of any home made food is a good and handy alternative.

yes, instant and ready to cook food is an alternative food only, when you are in a hurry but let's not forget that the most healthy and delicious food is still the natural food that we prepare and cook.

Absolutely. Home cooked food is much better for you, much cheaper and tastes better. I could not afford to live on food someone else cooked. However, I do not do the cooking my partner does. He will cook up a big load of casserole or his own bolognaise sauce and we will freeze it in meal quantities that last a few months. Then I just reheat the sauce and cook some pasta or rice. I also cook roasts, sausages and things. I do not like instant foods at all.

I cook meals simply because i like to cook and the fact that there are five people to feed in my house would make the price for microwaveable meals (especially my two teenage boys) way over my monthly budget. Besides why eat pretend food when it is just as easy to actual cook real food?

I still cook my own food it's better and cheaper. But other times when you're really in a hurry instant food like canned goods are just as good. Eating out once in a while doesn't hurt also.

Yes I do cook my own food. My husband and I both rather eat homemade food than going out to eat.I try to cook healthy most of the time.

I still cook a lot. I have a 14 yr old at home. As it is, on nights that I work, she eats frozen pizzas and things like that. On the nights that I am home, I cook her good meals...real food. I have to. If things are not too hectic here, I cook before I go to work and leave a plate to be heated in the microwave. She actually loves the junk foods but I just don't feel right allowing her to eat that all the time. If it were just me...I'm not so sure I'd go thru all the trouble. I don't eat a lot. I think I could live off from grilled cheese and peanut butter sandwiches...chicken noodle soup.

I go through moods where I want to cook everything and then into a mood where I will not want to cook anything. I think Im starting to notice why too. When I have the house cleaned up and theirs no chores waiting for me thats when I seem to fall into my cooking moods and its great having whatever dish you grab for there or on the counter nothing in my way (probably waiting to be put away or into the dishwasher). I actually like to cook a few meals when the mood strikes me which works out great because I have plenty of leftovers I can just pull out for my babies to eat and this makes my life easier because when my babies want to eat and were running late, oh boy.

I avoid processed foods so we eat in more often that we did. I make my own food even when we visit other as we eat low carb and have for many years.

Yes I do. I think that all those processed foods are really bad for you. Don't get me wrong, they are great when you are in a hurry but eaten regularly I think is a bad thing. The things that I do buy are usually snack foods like pizza rolls or seasoned fries.

I try to cook whenever I can. Sometimes I just don't have the time though. I've been cooking a lot more as of late - I make a mean rice and beans, recipe courtesy of my girlfriend.

Yes freind, i do...i still cook at home, and in India most of the people cook at their homes only, very few who have no time for it, get their food ordered from somewhere, but even the rich class get it cooked at home, though they may not do it themselves, the cooks cook for them. Home food is best for health and you can make it as per your required tastes...

if it is that i cook food then i can't but in our family we don't use ready to cook stuff and i am the only one who tries to bring it in the house and a couple of time i did but to be honest the quality and taste ain't there as it is in the home cooked ones and i no longer do so. we prefer to cook our meals at home and i am also a supporter of it now
