do you like rainy days?

i like it when it rains during the summer or in the middle of heat periods,as its refreshing and gives u respite from the heat ,but when it starts to pour heavily and continously and causing flash floods than i hate it ,as it brings the life to stand still and every place is water logged

I as well quite love rainy days as well! I find there is so much one can do when it is raining outside. I know personally that I like the sound of the rain. Especially when I am trying to sleep I find the sound of the rain to be such a comforting sound in general. To hear the rain falling is so soothing to me. I also love when it is raining outside because when I open up my window.. As I find the smell to be so refreshing, & I love how everything tends to smell so much fresher after a rain storm! I love how the air smells so clean, so fresh.. Almost like the air is full of electricity afterwards. I as well love how after the rain has stopped, how a rainbow will suddenly appear afterwards. I love seeing the gorgeous colors of the rainbow as I find the colors to be different each time. But also I find I am not able to witness a rainbow right after a rain storm always, so when I do.. I feel blessed that I was able to witness such a beautiful sight! . . I know that some of my favorite things to do on a rainy day would have to be.. Being able to wrap myself up in a soft fleece blanket & sit right by the window.. And look at the rain coming down & just being able to think about things.. I also love being able to cuddle up with someone special on a rainy day & watch an old film from when I grew up.. Nothing beats being able to spend time with the people whom you love on a beautiful rainy day! I also quite love opening up my bedroom window while I am on the computer or reading a good book.. And just being able to hear the rain falling from the gutter right outside.. I as well love to be lazy on rainy days. And I love being able to make home-made soup on days such as these.. Nothing beats coming in from the rain & being able to have a nice hot bowl of home-made soup I find.. I remember as a kid how I loved rainy days just as I do now that I have grown up.. I remember I used to make boats out of paper.. And then when I was finished making them I would take them outside & let them float in the water.. I used to always chase after them as they tried to float away from me.. I also remember always loving going to the park on a rainy day.. I loved being able to play on the swings, as well as having a good friend push you on the tire swing.. I always remember going home just drenched, as well as muddy because of how long I would stay at the park on that specific day.. I miss days such as those.. In conclusion.. As you can see.. I quite love rainy days & how there is so much one can do in the comfort of there own home.. Or what a person can do by going outside in weather such as this.. A lot of people find rainy days to be rather depressing.. But I on the other hand live for them & when a rainy day comes along.. I make sure that I take advantage of it at any chance that I can get! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

YEs, I love rainy days. One of my favorite memories is of my hubby and I going to barnes n noble in the fall and watching the rain pour down out of the sky.. it's beautiful.
